Corpus. Roughly translated it means "body", like with Corpus Christi; body of Christ.
Why "corpus?" Oh what I'm writing out an actual description, hah. My dreams tend to be filled to the brim with bodies. Dead ones, naked ones, mutilated ones, deformed ones, you name it, I've probably dreamt of it. I got to work on the theme "dream" as my project for class, and this idea forced its ugly head into my thoughts and never left. This damn thing was a fucking horror. 10x15 inches. 4 hours of pencilling. 26 fucking hours of inking. Four days of going around half-blind with all the strain. Traditional, since the monochrome shading took like 80 minutes total. Boo. Full-view, people. It's better that way. |
